Fjällräven are a highly traditional apparel and accessory purveyor and they drew us in with their excellent branding but we stayed due to their impeccable nature of their extensive wares. It is their rucksacks, however, that have left us most impressed and we’re always porting stuff about here at The Find Ledger HQ so invariably always have one eye open for great looking carries and those from Fjällräven undoubtedly fit the bill.
They have been crafting excellent outdoor goods since the 1950s and their name, Fjällräven, means Arctic fox in Swedish and this majestic creature is captured in the company’s logo.
The key component of the rucksacks from Fjällräven is their exceptional resilience and functionality as they were born from the company founder’s, Åke Nordin, frustrations with how easily his bags became damaged during outdoor expeditions and he decided to take matters into his own hands.
